BlueSleuth Boats ("BlueSleuth," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, retain, and protect personal information when you visit or use the BlueSleuth Boats website, mobile applications, software, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), communicate with us, create an account, request information, or otherwise interact with BlueSleuth.

This Privacy Policy is intended to comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws and should be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in the Platform's features, technologies, vendors, business practices, legal requirements, and data processing activities.

Listing, Profile, and User Content. We collect information submitted through the Platform, including vessel descriptions, identification numbers, specifications, photographs, videos, pricing, location, availability, ownership or brokerage authorization information, service-provider profiles, advertisements, reviews, ratings, messages, comments, and other content you choose to provide. Certain information is intended to be publicly displayed as part of the Platform.

Payment and Transaction Information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Depending on the services used, we and our payment providers may collect payment, billing, identity verification, tax, and payout information necessary to process transactions and comply with applicable law. BlueSleuth may receive transaction details such as transaction identifiers, payment status, billing contact information, payment method type, partial payment account information, and fraud or dispute indicators.

Location Information. We may collect business addresses, vessel locations, service areas, approximate location derived from your IP address, and geocoded location information used to facilitate search results, fraud prevention, licensing compliance, mapping services, and location-based Platform features. We will request any permissions required by your device or applicable law before collecting precise device location information.

Communications and Support Information. We collect information relating to your communications with BlueSleuth, including customer support requests, emails, telephone calls, account messages, attachments, and related technical information. Where remote support is provided, we may collect information reasonably necessary to provide support, including connection information and other support-session data.

Device, Usage, Cookies, and Analytics Information. We automatically collect certain technical information when you access or use the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, log information, pages viewed, searches performed, clicks, referral activity, security events, referring websites, approximate geographic location, and information collected through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies. Information from Other Sources. • To provide, operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, personalize, and improve the Platform and its search, listing, brokerage, plugin, directory, analytics, and customer support features.
• To create and administer user accounts; verify identity, authority, licensing, and eligibility; authenticate users; route leads; match users by location, category, or other criteria; and display public listings, broker profiles, and other information intended for public viewing.
• To process subscriptions, purchases, payments, payouts, refunds, credits, chargebacks, tax reporting, billing communications, and other financial transactions through BlueSleuth and its authorized service providers.
• To communicate with users regarding their accounts, transactions, customer support requests, security alerts, legal notices, service updates, product changes, and other administrative matters, and, where permitted by law, to send marketing and promotional communications subject to applicable opt-out rights.
• To measure, analyze, and improve Platform performance, user engagement, listings, advertisements, referral activity, search functionality, marketing effectiveness, and overall user experience, including through analytics and reporting tools.
• To detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, spam, unauthorized access, security incidents, abuse, prohibited conduct, sanctions violations, and other activity that may violate this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.
• To enforce our agreements and policies; resolve disputes; preserve evidence; protect the rights, property, safety, and security of BlueSleuth, our users, and third parties; and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, licensing, privacy, law enforcement, court order, and record-retention obligations.
• To carry out any other purpose disclosed to you at the time the information is collected or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

BlueSleuth and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, and similar technologies to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Platform.

BlueSleuth does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.

• Public Listings and Other Users. Information that you voluntarily submit for public listings, broker profiles, business directories, advertisements, reviews, ratings, comments, or similar public features may be visible to other users and the general public. When you request information, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with a broker, service provider, or other user through the Platform, we may disclose information necessary to facilitate that interaction or route your inquiry.
• Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose information to courts, law enforcement agencies, regulators, governmental authorities, insurers, auditors, attorneys, and other third parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requests; enforce our agreements or policies; investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity; protect the rights, property, or safety of BlueSleuth, our users, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• Business Transactions. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, investment, corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, asset sale, or other business transaction. Any successor entity receiving such information will be subject to applicable legal obligations regarding its use and protection.

• Whether you maintain an active account or continue to use the Platform;
• Applicable legal, tax, accounting, licensing, and record-retention requirements;

Please note that certain information may be retained as permitted or required by law, including information necessary to complete transactions, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent fraud. Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending transactional, administrative, security, legal, or account-related communications that are necessary to provide the Platform or comply with applicable law.

If BlueSleuth denies a privacy rights request, we will explain the basis for the denial and, where required by applicable law, provide information regarding any available appeal process.

7. Marketing Communications

You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails from BlueSleuth at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us at info@bluesleuthboats.com. We will process your request within the time required by applicable law.

Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect our ability to send you non-promotional communications that are necessary to provide the Platform or comply with legal obligations. These communications may include account notifications, security alerts, password resets, billing and payment notices, subscription updates, legal notices, customer support responses, service announcements, and other transactional or administrative communications.

Any employee, agent, contractor, affiliate, or third-party vendor authorized to send marketing communications on behalf of BlueSleuth must comply with BlueSleuth's marketing policies and all applicable laws governing commercial communications, including requirements relating to consent, sender identification, physical mailing address disclosures, and honoring unsubscribe and other opt-out requests.

8. Data Security

BlueSleuth maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption of data in transit where appropriate, credential protection, security monitoring, logging, vendor oversight, backup and recovery procedures, vulnerability management, and incident response processes appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved.

Despite these safeguards, no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing electronic information is completely secure. Accordingly, BlueSleuth cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information or that unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction will never occur.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, using strong passwords, securing their devices and networks, controlling access to their accounts, and promptly notifying BlueSleuth of any suspected unauthorized access or security incident involving their account.

Where appropriate, BlueSleuth may update its security practices from time to time to address evolving technologies, threats, legal requirements, and industry standards.

9. Children's Privacy

The BlueSleuth Platform is intended for use by businesses and individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of thirteen (13), nor do we knowingly permit such individuals to create accounts or use the Platform.

If BlueSleuth becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child under thirteen (13) without any consent required by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the matter and delete the information as appropriate.

Users may not submit or publish a child's personal information through listings, profiles, messages, reviews, photographs, videos, or other Platform content unless they have the legal authority to do so and the disclosure is reasonably necessary for the intended purpose. BlueSleuth reserves the right to remove such content if it reasonably believes doing so is necessary to protect a child's privacy, comply with applicable law, or protect the rights or safety of any person.

10. United States Service and International Users

BlueSleuth is owned and operated in the United States, and the Platform is intended primarily for users located within the United States. If you access or use the Platform from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or in other countries where BlueSleuth or its service providers operate.

By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. Please be aware that data protection and privacy laws in the United States may differ from those in your country of residence.

BlueSleuth reserves the right to limit or restrict access to the Platform in any jurisdiction where providing the Platform would be unlawful or would subject BlueSleuth to regulatory obligations that it has not elected to undertake.
